- Price. Included in the Wanxian Mountain ticket, CNY 80.
- Booking. The tunnel is a road, not a walkway — you drive it, and stopping for photographs blocks traffic and is policed. Park at the village end and walk back through on foot, which is allowed and much better.
- Payment. Most Chinese sights take WeChat Pay or Alipay only. Cash works at staffed windows but not at self-service machines; a licensed guide can pay on your behalf and settle with you at the end of the day.
Getting there and when to go
2.5 hours from Xinxiang city by car, on mountain roads. The tunnel is the only vehicle access to Guoliang village, so you drive through it whether you want to or not.
07:00–18:00.. The first hour after opening is the quietest — tour groups arrive around 09:30. Late afternoon gives better light but the main viewpoints start clearing people out, so shoot early if that is your priority.
